AM ANTENNA WAGe

Application:

WAGe is a short active whip antenna operating on the AM-broadcasting
bands 0,05 - 30 MHz.

Description:

An active matchin unit AMTGe matches the antenna to the coaxial cable.
The cable junction to the matching unit is cast in plastic to ensure a perfect waterproof
seal. The matching unit has an overvoltage discharger for the AM antenna.
The max. allowable input of 400mV from the antenna itself is remarkably high and will
barely be reached by even the strongest radio transmitter.

Output impedance: 75 ohm.

Supply voltage: 15-24Vdc.

Current consumption: approx. 50mA.

Sensitivity: 1,3mV for 1mV/m.

Max.input: 400mV.

This antenna is intended for use in separate radio systems together with our FM antenna
FDr and fed via the coaxial cable from our AM/FM amplifier Module 46C (with AGC) or in
combined Radio and TV systems together with our TV/FM antenna TVBR9 and fed via
the coaxial cable from our AM amplifier Module 4C (with AGC).
A separate power supply 220 Vac could be delivered (optional). The antenna is delivered
with 10mtr. coaxial cable, as standard.
